Peak Support Q&A: Honeylie faith Belnas
Honey may seem shy and quiet, especially if it’s your first time meeting her. But once you get to know her, she’s actually a very fun and friendly young woman. Honey enjoys the simpler things in life like staying at home during her days off from work, and watching her favorite Netflix series or reading a book from the vast collection stacked on her shelf. Her favorite book, which also happens to be her favorite film is “The Da Vinci Code.” When she was little, Honey always dreamed of becoming an FBI agent because of her fondness for crime solving and behavior analysis. She hopes to one day visit the picturesque island of Santorini in Greece with her family. Learn more about Honey by reading this fun Peak Support Q&A blog.
What beauty product can you not live without?
I can’t leave the house without my organic lip tint.
Which amusement ride scares you the most?
The Octopus. I think I got traumatized the first time I rode it because there was a machine malfunction. But thank God, no one got hurt. We just got stuck hanging in the air for quite some time.
What’s something that you never deprive yourself of?
I always try my best not to miss any family events and occasions, especially when it’s with the kids. Because I want to make lots of memories with them while I still can.
What are you like as a mom?
I would like to believe that I’m a very fun and cool type of mom.
If you could trade places with anybody in the world, who would it be?
If it was just for a day, probably Jeff Bezos. I would like to know how one of the richest men in the world lives his life. But if it’s going to be permanent, no one. I’m already so blessed living the life I have right now.
What’s something that a loved one regularly does for you that makes you smile?
A goodnight kiss from my hubby and kids at the end of the day. It never fails to wipe all the stress and tiredness away.
What delicious meal can you cook very well?
Pork Sinigang (a Filipino soup or stew characterized by its sour and savoury taste). It’s my family’s favorite, so I made sure to master it.
Where’s the most beautiful place you’ve ever been to?
I can’t really afford to travel that much yet, so I’d say…there’s no place like home.
Back in college, where did you usually hang out with your friends after school?
I didn’t hang out much with my friends when I was still in college. I just went straight to school from the dorm and vice versa.
Which country or city are planning to visit this year?
My family and I were planning to visit either Hong Kong or Singapore. But because a baby is on the way, we’re moving it next year.
If you were to go camping, which celebrity would you like to join you?
None. I’d rather go camping with my girls than feel self-conscious the entire time being with a celebrity. I think camping with a celebrity would be more stressful than enjoyable.
What’s your daily routine like?
I would say there’s no typical day in the life of a work-at-home mom. But definitely it doesn’t involve bon bons and soap operas. Every morning, I wish I could go back to bed and sleep, but after years of trying to change this, I have accepted the fact that all I need is coffee and run around like crazy after my 8-hr shift trying to fit everything in 24 hours. LOL!
Please complete the sentence: I feel the most beautiful when _____.
I’ve slept for 8 hours. I feel radiant even without washing or putting anything on my face.
How do you manage your time well?
My husband does almost every single chore in the house. So that leaves me more time to focus on other things after work.
What’s something that you’ve really had to work on as an adult?
Life after marriage. It’s like a challenge that you always have to take head on because you want to make it work.
What was your first ever job?
It was a paid summer job where I did some gardening and cleaning for our district hall.
If you could be a member of a band, which band would it be?
Linkin Park. They’re the reason why I got hooked on music. And their songs are also very meaningful.
What’s your biggest fear in life and what have you done to overcome it?
One of my biggest fears is not being able to live long enough to see my kids grow up. That’s why I always try to stay fit and healthy. And also, leaving my girls under somebody else’s care.
Which one of your tattoos is your favorite and what’s the story behind it?
I’d say the skull. If you see a skull without closely examining it, you can’t really tell its gender, race, religion, and financial status. This tattoo helps remind me that no one is better than the other, so we should always treat everyone with respect.
Who do you think is the funniest person alive?
Jokoy, the comedian. Every single time I watch his shows, I’m always in tears after laughing so hard.
If you could eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I guess it would be Cerelac (the baby food). Specifically the milk and banana variant. I’ve never outgrown eating it.
What do you do to stay calm especially in high pressure situations?
I usually just listen to music and pray.
Which foreign language do you think you can learn easily?
Spanish. I think because it has influenced our dialect a lot, in terms of having the same words with the same meaning. I also love listening Spanish people talking.
